Morphettville Races Report
After failing at her last start the Bel Esprit four-year-old mare Esprit De Roses was the two length winner of the 1200 metre eighth race.
A $7 chance out of the Rubiton mare Coming Up Roses and being under the care of Phillip Stokes who had Amy Herrmann ride his charge, Esprit De Rose was mid field for most of the race before going to the front and beating Monfils $6 for mentor David Balfour and rider Damien Robinson. A farther long head away third was Call To Mind $26 for Ken Sweeney and Ben Hoppo.
