BENDIGO trainer Shane Fliedner will be out to maintain a stunning run of form at today’s Bendigo Jockey Club meeting.
Of the past eight runners Fliedner has saddled up, he’s recorded four winners, two seconds and a third.
His past three runners, Fomalite, Tollesprit and Bitter Lager, have all won.
His only runner today is Enjoy The Journey in the Axedale Sands and Gravel Class Two Handicap (1600m).
Fliedner heads to Flemington tomorrow with Tollesprit, which was super impressive in winning its maiden at Ballarat last week.
The two-year-old son of Bel Esprit steps up to 1400m, but is one of only three runners in the 10-horse field that has won a race.
Tollesprit, which will again be ridden by Mark Pegus, has drawn barrier eight.
