The Bel Esprits just keep winning, Work the Room on Wednesday at Sandown, S
Now, Monday's story was about Belolly who won her 1st race at Tatura on last Saturday, trained by Peter Morgan and part owned by Brent Gayling, stallion manager at Eliza Park who looks after our Bel Esprit.
Today's article is about Outspoken Spirit who won her second start at Pa
kenham, trained by Cindy and Colin Alderson and part owned again by Brent. Well done Brent.I don't know of any other owner having two Bel esprit winners inside a week and the horse is well named Outspoken/ Bespoken, dam of Bel.
Sold at the Inglis Weanling sales in June 20006 for $15,000 and withdrawn from the Yearling sales in March 2007, Outspoken Spirit is by a Success Express ( leading broodmare in 2006 and third in 2007) mare, Free Express and has a double cross to Nijinsky ii.

LOLLIES FOR BRENT
Eliza Park Stallion Manager, Brent Grayling, is on fire. Well, not literally, but in terms of finding a winner, he’s certainly on a hot streak.
Last week, he got the lollies when his Bel Esprit filly – Belolly – lobbed at Tatura, and he was back in the winners’ circle on Friday when Outspoken Spirit – another Bel Esprit – grabbed the bikkies at Pakenham.
Formerly manager of Eliza Park’s Berrigan division – where so many of today’s winners originated – Brent reckons Belolly was the best foal born at Eliza Park in 2005 and was hardly surprised when she made $130,000 at the 2007 Gold Coast Magic Millions.
However, after mixing her form quite a bit and with only two country placings from six starts, she was given the pink slip by trainer Lee Freedman.
The filly was sold privately for $13,000 and the owners’ syndicate was re-formed – including a number of Eliza Park clients. The filly was placed with Peter Morgan and and Brent was asked if he’d like a share.
Since then, Belolly has started twice for a handy fifth at Ballarat and a Tatura win.
Brent also liked the look of the Bel Esprit filly from Success Express mare, Free Success, bred by Menzies Racing Stables Pty Ltd.
Snapping her up from the 2006 Great Southern Weanling Sale at Oaklands Junction for $15,000, Brent syndicated the filly privately and placed her with Colin and Cindy Alderson at Cranbourne.
Having her first outing at Ballarat on 14 May, Outspoken Spirit finished midfield, but managed to turn it around at Pakenham eight days later, scoring emphatically over the 1314m.

Make sure you keep an eye out for anything racing under the Supreme Thoroughbreds banner.
Sadly, Brent refuses to give me the heads up as he reckons the only thing I have in common with Superman is that we can both stop trains.
