Superior Shadow 16 /05/09

Superior Shadow

Eliza Park had to wait all of three races before grabbing winner No.4 on the program when Dennis Oliver’s Superior Shadow captured the 1400m Harcorp Trading Handicap in emphatic fashion.
The Bel Esprit 4YO was having his first run in six months and didn’t take long to shake off the rust.
Bred by Shane McGrath, Superior Shadow is out of the multiple stakesplaced Sackford mare, Something Wicked, a sister to dual Group One winner A Little Kiss.

On Saturday at Tatura, Superior Shadow, Bel Esprit 4yo, who had won previously over 1875m at Kyneton in October last year. Drawing the outside barrier, Superior Shadow missed the start by three lengths but on the turn had moved around all horses to hit the front and holding on untouched to win by one length.

Considering this race was over 1400m, more wins are around as he gets up in distance
