Will This be a Bel of a Christmas Break?
Bel Esprit has had a great start this Xmas with Backabel(what a great name) winning the 1st race at Wagga(Royal Express came 3rd in the same race) and paying 15/1.
Ibsen won the last race at Ascot, starting favourate and winning with daylight to the 2nd horse. All this happened on Christmas Eve.
Now we are into Boxing Day.
Queen Rene should win at Wodonga(Non TAB).
Sonic Spree is 1st up atCheltenham, won two at 1000m and record 1st up is 1 win, 1 2nd.
Esprit de Bullett is having his 1st start at Cheltenham. In the sales, he was passed in for $190,00 with a reserve of $200,000.
Bel Said, who won her 1st 2 races, is running at Newcastle.
The Package is picked to win at Pinjarra.
Thetoppie is in at Sale(Non TAB).
Another 1st starter is running at Kranji in Singapore, Bel's Ringer.
Tomorrow(Saturday)
!st starter Beltrois, scratched at Ballarat Xmas Eve, is in the 1st at Mornington.
Last start winner, Seasonality, could win at Mornington also.
Drifting Spirit, who seems to scratch often, is named to run at Mornington.
Boy Magician is topweight at Toowoomba in the 5th but drawn barrier 21.
Esprit D'Amour, formerly trained by Gai Waterhouse, is now trained by David Jones and is entered to run at Bunderberg in race 4.
5th at Kembla Grange to Bunderberg, should win this.
Now with all that money in our pockets, we come to Saturday Night At Moonee Valley.
Casabel is running in the 1st.

Peter Moody has a 1st starter named to run at Stoneycreek, Warrego River, he sold at the sales for $30,000
