Auction closes 5pm Thursday 20 August
The Eliza Park / Living Legends Online Auction closes at 5pm (EST) tomorrow (Thursday 20 August) and has been a “tremendous initiative” according to Eliza Park CEO, Cameron Croucher.
“This is the second year running that Eliza Park and its stallion shareholders have offered up service nominations to our entire roster in an effort to raise funds for Living Legends,” Croucher points out.
“However, this was the first time Eliza Park decided to stage the auction via online tenders and I’m very pleased to say that the response this year has already exceeded monies generated in 2008.
“And we’re expecting a flurry of activity as the auction draws to a close tomorrow … after all, this the last opportunity for broodmare owners to secure a nomination to Bel Esprit (top right) or Statue of Liberty in 2009, while there are bargains to be had on each of the other stallions as well.
“Eliza Park is proud to be associated with Living Legends and I’d like to thank those who have taken part in the tender process as, I’m sure everyone will agree, it’s for such a good cause.”
