100 Winners

100 Winners in 2009-2010.
One of the little noticed events happened in July 2009, Bel Esprit progeny had 100 starts for the month and properly only noticed by people who like to keep records.
For the year, he had 882 starts for 140 wins with 162 starters from 365 live foals and the 4th year crop had 130 live foals so putting all these facts together and working with percentages, this year the progeny will have about 230 starters for the year.
This all leads to setting a target for these boys and gals to better the one we had about getting 200 winners by the end of last season which he did.
Going thru the last 100 winners a year for fourth year stallions since the year 2000 these names were the only ones to come up

Last year seven years stallions were an impressive lot and all capable of getting the magic 100 winners with Choisir getting 92 winners and Bel Esprit 82 (Australia only) The resultis more impressive when Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau, South Asia and Zimbabwe results are taken into account, Choisir 101 winners, Bel Esprit 90
