After winning a trial in the spring, Rich Esprit was produced today at Echuca in a 3YO Maiden Plate.
Starting at $2.20 favourite, she jumped OK and went to the front after 100 metres and was never headed for the rest of the journey, winning by one and a half lengths easing up, The way she went to the line after challenged in the straight augers well for the future.
